VMA 2011

Hoje a Mtv americana apresentará o Video Music Awards VMA em Los Angeles. A premiação do videoclip que vai parar o mundo da música. Se em 2010 Lady Gaga tinha batido o recorde de 13 indicações levando pra casa 8 astronautas de prata (o troféu e um astronauta) este ano as bolas da vez são Katy Perry, a cantora inglesa Adele e Kanye West.

Perry lidera o caminho com 9 indicações, seguida por West e Adele com 7 indicações cada. O destaque do ano passado, Gaga, concorre apenas com 3 indicações, junto com Beyoncé, Eminem, Minaj e Thirty Seconds to Mars.

A premiação ainda contará com algumas apresentações e Gaga abre a noite numa performance ainda não revelada, mas inspirada nos arquétipos da nossa pisicologia e nas pessoas que podemos nos tornar ou tenhamos nos tornado, diz Gaga.

A premiação não vai ter muitas surpresas, já que a votação é popular. São 14 categorias, 8 delas são decididas pela audiência e 6 categorias técnicas votadas pelo júri da Mtv. Rolling in the deep e Born This Way, são meus preferidos, mas Adele ainda não conta com a quantidade de fans disposto a passar horas na frente do computador votando como os fans de Britney Spears, Beyoncé e Lady Gaga.
